Work Environment Building construction materials Responsibilities Tasks Calculate dimensions and tolerances of machine parts Measure and arrange parts for assembly Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, graphics and charts Repair machine tools and parts Adjust and calibrate production machines/tools Adjust and assemble machine components and spare parts to meet tolerances Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments Document and record any deviations from specifications and tolerances Keep control records and prepare inspection reports Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g. micrometer, caliper) Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools Verify, using precision measuring instruments, that product dimensions are accurate and comply with specifications Additional Information Personal Qualities Teamwork Benefits Social Benefits Financial Benefits Night shift premium Other Benefits Free parking available
