Responsibilities Tasks Adjust and repair systems in accordance with specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures Inspect maintenance work performed by aircraft mechanics Verify structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure these systems meet Transport Canada and company performance and safety standards Repair and overhaul to ensure compliance with standards and procedures Troubleshoot aircraft hydraulic systems Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical systems Troubleshoot aircraft structural systems Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems Install or modify aircraft engines or other aircraft systems, such as mechanical and hydraulic systems, flight control systems, fuel circuits and pneumatic systems Maintain detailed reports concerning aircraft repair, inspection and certification Disassemble airframes, engines or other aircraft systems for repair, restoration and cleaning, and reassemble Verify the work of aircraft mechanics responsible for aircraft modification or aircraft mechanical systems to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures Perform systematic maintenance and report on it Order parts and supplies and maintain inventory Interpret blueprints, specifications, standards and written technical instructions Qualifications Qualifications (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) "M" AME License - aircraft Additional Information Working Conditions and Physical Abilities Standing for extended periods Attention to detail Bending, squatting, kneeling Possess tools and equipment Tools Personal Qualities Precise Customer-focused attitude Sense of responsibility Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Flexibility Initiative Judgment Reliable Teamwork spirit Benefits Health Benefits Dental care plan Disability benefits Health care plan Vision care benefits Financial Benefits Life insurance Other Benefits Free parking available On-site housing opportunities Paid leave (personal or volunteer days) Team building development opportunities Parking available
