Responsibilities Tasks Unload fish and shellfish from fishing vessels and transport them by hand to the work area Use a forklift to transport fish and shellfish unloaded from fishing vessels Transport fish, shellfish and crustaceans to the work area Condition nets for packaging or freezing Weigh fish or crustaceans, record their weight and place them in crushed ice Clean machines and work areas Measure and load ingredients into mixer and grinder hoppers Sort fish by species, weight and destination
