Responsibilities Tasks
Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Direct children's activities by telling them stories, teaching them songs and taking them to places of interest in the region
Encourage children to express their creativity through art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
Guide and assist children so they develop good habits for meals, hygiene and dressing
Observe children in order to detect learning difficulties or behavioral disorders, and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
Provide early childhood educators and supervisors with written observations about children
Establish relationships with colleagues and other child community service providers and collaborate with them
Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, safety and well-being of children
