Responsibilities Tasks Drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products Customer service professionalism Receive and transmit information to central dispatcher Maintain a record of items received and delivered Load and unload merchandise Follow directions and read a map Use road maps and other travel planning aids Note travel information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and problems encountered Inspect trucks before, during and after the trip and monitor all aspects of vehicles
