Responsibilities Tasks Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment Weigh resins, dyes and other chemicals according to appropriate formulas Verify and inspect the quality of produced material Pour weighed substances into the mixer Transfer the mixture into a container or conveyor for further processing Adjust and operate rolling mills that transform plastic balls or plates into sheets or continuous films of determined thickness Adjust and operate machines that serve to extrude plastic compounds through the nozzle or die Replace dies on extruding machines as needed for the manufacturing line Prepare and replace moulds and adjust equipment as needed for the manufacturing line Additional Information Transportation and Travel Information Travel expenses paid by employer Working Conditions and Physical Abilities Attention to detail Manual dexterity Handle heavy loads Eye-hand coordination Environment where activities take place at a fast pace Sitting, standing and walking Physically demanding Standing for long periods Work under pressure Tight deadlines Weight handled Up to 23 kg (50 lb) Personal Qualities Precise Excellent oral communication Organizational skills Team spirit Initiative Effective interpersonal relationships Excellent written communication Judgment Ability to multitask Benefits Health Benefits Dental care plan Disability benefits Vision care benefits Financial Benefits Life insurance Other Benefits Other benefits
