# Job Description Translation **Work Environment** Non-smoking workplace Work Location: Work at the employer's or client's home **Responsibilities** Tasks: - Provide bedside care and personal care - Administer medications - Accompany clients in water (e.g., in a swimming pool) - Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene - Help clients with regular physical exercises, for example: walking - Change non-sterile dressings - Collect specimens - Instruct new parents on baby care - Feed clients or assist them with feeding - Do laundry - Mend clothing - Perform light housework and cleaning tasks - Design therapeutic diets and menus - Provide companionship - Attend to personal needs - Do shopping - Prepare and serve nutritious meals **Qualifications** Credentials (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) - First Aid Certificate **Additional Information** Safety and Security - Criminal record check Working Conditions and Physical Abilities - Bending, crouching, kneeling - Sitting, standing and walking - Environment where activities are performed at a fast pace - Handling heavy loads - Physically demanding - Repetitive tasks - Sedentary work - Standing for long periods - Walking - Working under pressure **Personal Qualities** - Punctuality - Client-focused attitude - Sense of responsibility - Effective interpersonal relations - Excellent oral communication - Flexibility - Initiative - Judgment - Organizational skills - Reliability - Teamwork
