# Job Description **Work Environment** Outdoor Noisy Hot Workplace Camp School or educational institution Church Education **Responsibilities** Tasks - Maintain current files and records - Plan activities - Supervise staff - Train staff - Instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts - Assist in coordinating recreational, sports and fitness events - Lead groups and individuals in social and leisure activity programs - Plan and implement leisure, athletic, fitness and sports activities - Prepare reports - Understand principles of group dynamics - Lead groups or provide instruction to groups - Lead individuals or provide instruction to individuals - Assist clients/guests with special needs - Ensure health and safety rules are followed - Set up equipment and apparatus for sports and games - Supervise leisure, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and administer first aid or emergency care as needed - Supervisory functions and activities - More than 20 people **Credentials** Credentials (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) - CPR Certificate - First Aid Certificate **Experience and Specialization** Field of work experience - Teaching **Additional Information** Safety and Security - Criminal record check - Vulnerable Persons Check (VPC) **Personal Qualities** - Precise - Customer-focused attitude - Sense of responsibility - Effective interpersonal relations - Excellent oral communication - Excellent written communication - Flexibility - Initiative - Openness to others - Judgment - Organizational skills - Reliable - Team spirit **Benefits** Other benefits - Free parking available - Training/learning paid by employer - On-site facilities
