Work Environment Hot Noisy Responsibilities Tasks Interpret welding instructions Use fully automated manual or semi-automatic welding equipment Read and interpret plans, welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and processes Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications Use welding machines with adjustable controls to manufacture or repair metal components Use brazing machines with adjustable controls to bond with solder, or to fill holes Participate in maintenance and repair of welding and brazing machines Additional Information Working Conditions and Physical Abilities Environment where activities are carried out at a fast pace Repetitive tasks Weight handled Up to 23 kg (50 lb)
