Responsibilities Tasks - Operate manual or semi-automatic fully automated welding equipment - Operate manual or semi-automatic cutting torches - Operate presses, shears and other metal forming machines and metal straightening and bending machines - Adjust metal pieces, straighten them with a torch and braze them - Determine the weldability of materials - Operate lifting devices - Operate welding machines with adjustable controls to fabricate or repair metal components - Operate brazing machines with adjustable controls to bond with solder or to fill holes - Participate in the maintenance and repair of welding and brazing machines Additional Information Working Conditions and Physical Abilities - Work environment with fast-paced activities - Repetitive tasks - Handle heavy loads - Physically demanding - Manual dexterity - Hand-eye coordination - Standing for long periods Personal Qualities - Organizational skills - Teamwork - Punctuality - Dedication
