Responsibilities Tasks - Operate fully automated manual or semi-automatic welding equipment - Operate manual or semi-automatic cutting-flame equipment - Operate presses, shears and other metal forming machines and metal straightening and bending machines - Adjust metal pieces, straighten them with a torch and braze them - Determine the weldability of materials - Operate lifting devices - Operate welding machines with adjustable controls to fabricate or repair metal components - Operate brazing machines with adjustable controls to bond with solder or to fill holes - Participate in the maintenance and repair of welding and brazing machines Additional Information Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities - Fast-paced work environment - Repetitive tasks - Handling heavy loads - Physically demanding - Manual dexterity - Eye-hand coordination - Standing for extended periods Personal Qualities - Organizational skills - Team spirit - Punctuality - Reliability
