Responsibilities Tasks Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages Resolve customer complaints and address their concerns Present bills to customers and collect amounts due in cash, by credit or debit card, by traveler's cheques or charged to rooms Describe menu items to customers, including daily specials Apply provincial or territorial laws and regulations concerning alcoholic beverages Cash out and record sales Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs Serve food and beverages Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff Provide customer service
Qualifications Credentials (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) Food and Beverage Server Training Certificate in Responsible Beverage Service Food Safety Certificate
