Responsibilities
Tasks
Process and document patient symptoms and changes in health status
Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing care
Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
Offer health care education programs
Deliver and administer medications prescribed by a physician
Provide nursing care
Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
