# Responsibilities
## Tasks
Mountain driving experience
Organize trips, establish itineraries and make reservations
Work as part of a team of two truck drivers or in a convoy
Load and unload merchandise
Obtain special licenses and other documents required to transport cargo on international roads
Drive trucks or articulated combinations to transport goods or materials
Monitor the condition of vehicles and perform inspections of tires, lights, brakes, refrigeration storage equipment and other equipment
Adjust brakes
Inspect trucks before, during and after trips and monitor all aspects of vehicles
Perform preventive maintenance
Receive and transmit information to central dispatcher
Record information on cargo, service hours, distances traveled and fuel consumption
Tarp and ensure cargo safety and security
Transport and handle dangerous goods
