# Job Description Translation **Workplace:** Restaurant, Pub, Hotel, Motel, Resort Centre **Responsibilities Tasks:** - Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages - Resolve customer complaints and address their concerns - Present bills to customers and collect payments in cash, credit or debit card, traveler's cheques, or charge to rooms - Describe menu items to customers, including daily specials - Apply provincial or territorial laws and regulations concerning alcoholic beverages - Perform cash register duties and record sales - Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs - Serve food and beverages - Take orders and transmit them to kitchen and bar staff - Provide customer service **Credentials/Qualifications:** - Food and Beverage Server Training - Responsible Beverage Service Certificate - Food Safety Certificate **Additional Information:** *Working Conditions and Physical Abilities:* - Standing for long periods *Personal Qualities:* - Customer-focused attitude - Effective interpersonal relations - Excellent oral communication - Flexibility - Initiative - Organizational skills - Reliability - Team spirit
