Responsibilities Tasks
- Identify customer needs
- Prepare statistics and reports related to areas of responsibility
- Promote products/services to customers
- Read plans to determine structure or system dimensions and material requirements
- Recommend products or services to customers
- Identify potential customers and solicit their business
- Assess customer needs and resources to recommend appropriate goods or services
- Write reports or proposals to demonstrate the benefits of using the good or service
- Make sales presentations
- Draft and administer sales contracts
- Administer contracts to ensure supply of materials and service delivery
- Communicate with customers after the sale for follow-up
- Establish and manage facility operating budgets
- Plan, organize and direct administrative services such as signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security and snow removal
- Resolve problems related to products or services
- Supervise the activities of other technical sales specialists
- Organize and maintain current inventory
