Responsibilities Tasks Prepare, measure and delineate surfaces to be covered Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, putty, adhesive or other adhesive materials using trowels Place tiles in position and press them firmly into the adhesive bed Level and realign tiles Cut and adjust tiles around obstacles or openings using mechanical or manual cutting tools Fill tile joints with grout and remove excess grout Replace broken or damaged tiles Install tile borders Additional Information Working Conditions and Physical Abilities Physically demanding Bending, squatting, kneeling Attention to detail
