Responsibilities Tasks Assist physicians in patient evaluation Execute, under the direction of occupational therapists or physiotherapists, treatment programs for the purpose of rehabilitating individuals with disabilities or who have sustained injuries Examine the patient Monitor treatment programs with patients Use ophthalmology instruments to perform tests and take measurements Install and disassemble equipment Administer assessment tests Clean and maintain equipment Record vital signs Select appropriate methods, exercises and devices Keep clinical and progress records Conduct physiotherapy research Document the progress of patients in rehabilitation Process files and paperwork Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients
