Work Environment Estimation Willing to relocate Construction site Maintenance and repair service Responsibilities Tasks Prepare cost estimation of materials and/or labour Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present to clients Read plans, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements Operate computer-aided design and drafting (CAD) systems and other computer systems Prepare overhead expense evaluation Create and submit estimation reports, quote sheets and submission forms Follow take-off procedures Establish control and reporting procedures Monitor and adjust contract expenses Prepare and update directories of suppliers and specialized contractors Communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors, liaise with them and consult with them on changes and adjustments to cost estimations Interpret industrial drawings, electrical installation diagrams and plans Coordinate subcontracting Select contractors in the sector Experience and specialization Management systems (GIS or database) Estimation software Spreadsheet AutoCAD MS Excel MS Word QuickBooks Documentary knowledge Maintenance and repair reports Types of systems Refrigeration Type of related experience Civil engineering Type of experience Mechanical construction Commercial and/or industrial construction Work experience field Purchasing, acquisition and contracts Project coordination Interior finishes Elements of Interior finishes Walls and other interior surfaces (e.g. partitions) Area of specialization Project management Finishing Additional information Transportation and travel information Willing to travel occasionally Valid driver's license Work conditions and physical abilities Work under pressure Tight deadlines Attention to detail Sitting, standing and walking Personal qualities Customer-oriented attitude Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Flexibility Organizational skills Proactive Benefits Financial benefits Mileage paid Other benefits Free parking available Training/learning paid by employer Other benefits
