Work Environment Air-conditioned Warm Odours Responsibilities Tasks Troubleshoot and perform minor equipment repairs Weigh resins, dyes and other chemicals according to appropriate formulas Check and inspect the quality of produced material Pour weighed substances into the mixer Operate the mixer until a mixture of plastic and other chemicals with a determined consistency or viscosity is obtained Package items for shipment and distribution Adjust and operate machines that serve to extrude plastic compounds through the nozzle or die Replace the dies of extruding machines according to production line requirements Prepare and replace molds and adjust equipment according to production line requirements Use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines Credentials Credentials (certificates, licenses, affiliations, courses, etc.) Certificate in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Additional Information Health and Safety Criminal record check Driving record check Transportation and travel information Public transportation available Working Conditions and Physical Abilities Colour discrimination Repetitive tasks Attention to detail Manual dexterity Hand-eye coordination Environment where activities are conducted at a fast pace Sitting, standing and walking Physically demanding Standing for long periods Personal Qualities Sense of responsibility Organizational sense Reliable Team spirit Benefits Other Benefits Free parking available Employer-paid learning/training
